A few scenes and comments tell the story so far…
"The Private Eye changes the emphasis from that of a 'teacher centered' learning environment to that of a 'student centered' one. I can’t wait to get started and feel that this class has reinvigorated my own interest in science and teaching science for good." --Allyson Dubuque
It was a perfect balance of information input, hands-on activities, and discussion. I found this class to be one of the most exciting and valuable that I have taken. I am especially excited about introducing the students (and my family) to a new way of thinking and looking at their world --Lisa Abramovic
"I loved the way Kerry walked the room as we had group discussions and wrote down all we were saying and then asked us questions and probed for deeper meaning. The probing for deeper observation and making connections is going to be essential for my students." --Sara Bryant
"I am glad to be reminded to look at the world with awe and wonder; one big take-away from this class is being reminded how I myself enjoy learning…" —Molly Drenner
